Deze rondleiding wordt alleen in het Engels gegeven.

Guided tour along the Royal Palace and in the Royal Park. This visit mainly explores the decision-making centres of the time of Leopold II and the “independent” state of Congo, the origins of colonial power and its important influence in Africa.

Meeting place of the visit: Place Royale (in front of Eglise Saint-Jacques-sur-Coudenberg, facing Godefroid de Bouillon statue)

Over de tentoonstelling

Het collectief “Mémoire Coloniale et Lutte contre les Discriminations ” (CMCLD) is een feitelijke groepering van verschillende Afrikaanse verenigingen uit Vlaanderen, Brussel en Wallonië.

Deze groepering werkt rond twee hoofdthema’s: het koloniale geheugen en de strijd tegen discriminatie. Beide hebben een sterke impact op de Belgische bevolking met Afrikaanse roots.
