About the exhibition
The Wellington museum: a gateway to history in the heart of Waterloo.
Just a stone’s throw from Brussels, the Wellington Museum is housed in a former tricentennial inn. In 1815, this large construction was chosen by the Duke of Wellington to establish his headquarters. Authentic memories, weapons, engravings and more retrace the events of the time and perpetuate the memory of the nations and fighters who participated in the confrontations of June 18, 1815. The museum accommodates a space for temporary exhibitions and also offers numerous events throughout the year. Audio guides are available in several languages.
